International seminar on Transitional Justice organized by the JEP and featuring the participation of Stefan Peters and Kai Ambos

The Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) is organizing the international seminar on transitional justice entitled: “Emerging Responses to Contemporary Atrocities”, to be held on October 29-30, 2020.

The event will include open expert panels and panels targetting specific audiences. Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters, CAPAZ Academic Director and Prof. Dr. Kai Ambos, Director of CEDPAL at -CAPAZ founding member- University of Göttingen, will speak on the second day, while other participants include experts from Argentina, Switzerland, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Peru, Chile, Ireland, El Salvador, Ethiopia, and Colombia.

International institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) will also be represented in the online sessions.
