CAPAZ participates in peace conference organized by Universidad de Nariño
In June 8, 2018, the director of the Instituto CAPAZ, Stefan Peters, will participate in the conference “Pespectives and Challenges for Peace”, which is organized by the Universidad de Nariño with the support of the Canadian Government and the organizations Lawyers without
Borders and Corporación Guasimi. The event will be held in Pasto (Colombia) in the Auditorium Luis Eduardo Mora Osejo.
This academic activity coincides with the Instituto CAPAZ’s strategy for strengthening cooperation with regional universities in Colombia. It is worth saying that the Instituto CAPAZ promotes the exchange of knowledge and experience in topics related to peace building, through the formation of networks between universities, research centres, civil society organisations and governmental entities, whose actions focus on the territorial area. The consolidation of such networks allows interdisciplinary academic analysis, reflection, and debate on the lessons of the past and the challenges of sustainable peace building.
