Discussion organised by CAPAZ and Universidad de los Andes during Día Paíz 2020
The German Colombian Peace Institut – CAPAZ together with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Development Studies (Cider) at Universidad de los Andes are pleased to invite all those interested to the seminar, “Women in peacebuilding and the truth commission”, to be held on Tuesday, 22 September 2020, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The event will include a video presentation on the visions and practices of women in the Colombian Caribbean in relation to peace and well-being. The second part will feature a discussion with CAPAZ Scientific Collaborator and PhD candidate at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Juliana González Villamizar.
The discussion is part of the Día Paíz 2020 programme, consisting of a series of academic and cultural activities organised to promote dialogue on peace, memory, life, and truth. Día Paíz 2020 will run from 21 to 25 September 2020.
