IV Seminars on Land Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia
The Department of Environmental Law, belonging to the School of Law at the Universidad Externado de Colombia invites all those interested to the IV International Seminars on Land Law: “Social organization of rural property. Problematic aspects of Decree-Law 902 of 2017”.
The conference will take place on May 23 and 24, 2019 at Universidad Externado de Colombia, in Bogotá, Colombia.
The German-Colombian Peace Institute – CAPAZ is one of the institutions supporting this event, along with the GIZ, the Colombian Government’s Land Restitution Unit, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the Government of Sweden.
Universidad Externado de Colombia is one of the founding partners of the CAPAZ Institute.
Academic Program
The opening day held on May 23 is divided into two sessions. The first session will present the conceptual bases of the social order of rural property; the second session will focus on the topics of access to land and formalization processes.
The event ends on May 24 with a session on aspects of the procedure for the implementation of the social order of rural property in Colombia.
