CAPAZ POLICY BRIEF 2-2019: THE CONDITIONALITY REGIME AND ACCESS TO SPECIAL JURISDICTION FOR PEACE

This Policy Brief, published in May 2019, seeks to clarify some basic issues of the conditionality regime, and to pose questions that arise as a consequence of the functioning of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) Chamber for the Definition of Legal Situations.

Policy Brief No. 2-2019, entitled “The Conditionality Regime and Access to Special Jurisdiction for Peace”, from the series of CAPAZ publications, is authored by Juliette Vargas, CAPAZ science collaborator and doctoral researcher at the Centre for Latin American Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Studies (CEDPAL), affiliated to the University of Göttingen; and John Zuluaga, who is currently an associate professor at Universidad Sergio Arboleda (Bogotá, Colombia) and a member of CEDPAL.
