Nodo Alemania’s second forum: “Truths in disagreement”
The German group supporting Colombia’s Truth Commission in Germany will be holding its second Forum: «Truths in disagreement: do we know our history or do we refuse to transform it?» on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (German time).
Join the second Forum to share opinions and feelings concerning memory- and truth-building in Colombia. The initial emphasis will be on social mobilisations and the recent increase in violence in the period between April and June 2021. This entry point will serve to explore the possible axes of the historical persistence of the dynamics of the armed conflict in Colombia. Although it will depend on the dialogue, the idea is to reflect on what to do in terms of memory- and truth-building from our daily actions.
Target audience: people in Germany who are attentive to the work of the CEV and who are willing to share their views on the country’s social, political, and economic situation, to open up a general dialogue on the armed conflict in Colombia. As this is a social debate, the call will be open and we will receive a maximum of 15 people to interact on the digital platform.
Admission is free, but space is limited so that everyone gets a turn to speak.
Reserve your place by writing to: email@example.com
To open a space for dialogue is to open a space to the uncertain. Online discussion moderated by Ana María Linares and Carlos Mario Cano. Supported by CAPAZ.
