Territorial challenges and young people in the Chocó in the latest chapter of Vox Populi
We are proud to present Chapter Five of Vox Populi!
In this episode, Daniel Castaño (lecturer and researcher at Universidad de Medellín) and Nigeria Rentería (former negotiator in Havana and former High Counsellor for Women’s Equity) answer questions from Chocó educators on issues related to the territorial challenges facing young people in Chocó today.
They discuss, for example, how politics and academia can build alternatives to the mining conflict in Chocó; how to prevent young people from falling into networks of violence and armed groups; or how to address socio-environmental problems in the region.
