Uninorte hosts event on four years after the signing of the Final Agreement
The Division of Law, Political Science and International Relations at CAPAZ-associate member Universidad del Norte, and the Harvard Kennedy School, Carr Centre will be hosting a series of academic conferences on the four years since the signing of the peace agreements in Havana, between the then Colombian government and the now extinct FARC-EP guerrilla.
With live transmissions open to the public, on Uninorte Colombia YouTube, the event will take place on November 10 and 11, 2020. On the first day, sessions run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the second day from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The topics that will be discussed during the event entitled: “Four years since the signing of the peace agreements. Challenges of the transitional justice model in Colombia“, include, on the first day, peacebuilding after the signing of the Final Agreement in 2016; and a balance of the implementation of that agreement, justice, and non-repetition. On the second day, topics include narratives of peace and war, truth and reparation.
Note: CAPAZ is not the organiser of this event, for more information, please contact the organisers directly.
