Event on memory of exploratory study supported by CAPAZ

From March 13-15, 2019 will take place the event “Memory, academia and civil society: building bridges” at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. The event is organized by CAPAZ Institute, Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and MemoriAL (Interdisciplinary Latin American Memory Research Network).

The event will open with a concert on March 12, 2019. Every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the programme will include lectures, conversations, panels and workshops with researchers on following thematic axes:

Day 1: Cultural Products of Memory

Day 2: Asymmetries, activism and resistances in the production of knowledge about memory

Day 3: Practices in memory pedagogies

The admission is free, a register is required for each day: Day 1 / Day 2 / Day 3

The event is an activity of the exploratory study “Memory, academia and society”, one of the studies supported by CAPAZ in 2018. Universidad de los Andes and Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Medellín also participate in the research project.
