The seminar entitled “Peacebuilding in an unequal country: Challenges for Colombia three years after the Final Agreement” will be held at the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla on 23 and 24 October 2019. Admission is free.

The seminar will review the progress, complexities and challenges of the implementation of the Havana peace accords from different perspectives and themes: transitional justice, the role of victims, social inequalities, peacebuilding with an emphasis on the territorial sphere, and the gender approach among other issues.

The panellists include professors and researchers from the CAPAZ founding and associated universities and, of course, from Universidad del Norte.

The seminar is organised by CAPAZ and the Institute for Latin American and Caribbean Studies at Universidad del Norte, a CAPAZ partner institution. The Atlantic Coast Forum and the UNCaribe think tank support the event.

Consult academic programme for the seminar (in Spanish).
