CAPAZ and Universidad del Cauca Seminar on Illegal Economies

The German-Colombian Peace Institute – CAPAZ together with Universidad del Cauca -an associate member of the CAPAZ Institute- invite those interested to the seminar on social dynamics and political economy of illegal economies, to be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Auditorium at Banco de la República (Cultural Area) in Popayán.

The event is free of charge.

Two panels will present and discuss experiences and approaches to issues and complex territorial problems that develop around the political economy and activities within illegal economies, in conflict and post-conflict contexts. The CAPAZ Academic Director and Professor of Peace Studies at Justus Liebig University Giessen, Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters; and the professor and researcher Axel Rojas, Universidad del Cauca spokesman at CAPAZ, will participate with their respective papers.
