CAPAZ associate member, Universidad de Caldas, joined us for the CAPAZ 2019 Summer School in Berlin, Germany.

Lorena Patricia Delgado Enríquez, second semester student of the Master’s in Social Justice and Peacebuilding at Universidad de Caldas, was one of the scholarship recipients of the academic school. The student is co-investigator for the project “Hilando capacidades políticas para la transición en los territorios de la IES aliada Universidad Autónoma de Manizales”.

According to Universidad de Caldas, the thematic axes of the academic school are in consonance with the object of the master’s degree, since they promoted “theoretical reflection and the generation of knowledge about social justice and peace-building processes as localised social action”.

The CAPAZ Summer School 2019 entitled “¿Una paz excluyente? Construcción de paz en contextos desiguales” took place from 23 to 27 September 2019 in Berlin at FU Berlin, one of the CAPAZ founding members. The school included theoretical sessions and a cultural programme in Berlin.
