In cooperation with different partners in Colombia the institute will engage in research and scientifically founded consultancy.The CAPAZ will support the transfer and dissemination of academic knowledge in three different aspects:
Efforts will be undertaken on a national basis, jointly with existing higher education institutions in Colombia, with a particular emphasis on the inclusion of universities in the most affected areas;
Transfer of knowledge shall be guaranteed at the international level between Germany and Colombia (with the CAPAZ serving as the primary institution to administer and encourage this exchange of knowledge, including the exchange of staff and students between the two countries);
Interdisciplinary exchange will be at the heart of the CAPAZ. The Institute will also perform outreach activities, including advisory.
