Book presentation: Commentary on the Amnesty Law
The German-Colombian Peace Institute – CAPAZ, together with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Rule of Law for Latin America Programme, and the Centre for Latin American Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Studies (CEDPAL), belonging to the University of Göttingen will be hosting a presentation of the publication: “Systematic and Comprehensive Commentary on the Amnesty Law (Law 1820 of 2016)”, on May 28 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium on the 12th floor of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace building (Carrera 7 No. 63-44, Bogotá, Colombia).
The event will include the participation and comments of the editors of the book, Kai Ambos and Gustavo Emilio Cote; the former Minister of Justice, Yesid Reyes Alvarado; and the Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation’s Rule of Law for Latin America Programme, Marie-Christine Fuchs.
Kai Ambos is a professor of law at the University of Göttingen, director of CEDPAL, and representative of the university in the German-Colombian Peace Consortium – CAPAZ.
