“Voices in exile”: Episode four of the Nodo Alemania podcast

The podcast series produced by Nodo Alemania is pleased to announce its fourth episode!

On this occasion, you will hear a conversation between Xiomara Loango, a journalist and member of Nodo Alemania, and Elizabeth López, a physiotherapist and civil servant. Both will discuss the challenges of community work in Colombia, the reasons for Elizabeth’s departure from her country and the challenges she has faced upon her arrival in Germany, ranging from climate change to the impacts of the asylum process.

“Voices in exile” makes it possible for the voices of Colombians living in Germany to be heard through a series of podcasts that highlight their painful experiences of having left their country, but also of their hopes and dreams and their personal growth in the host country. The series is produced by Nodo Alemania, a supported group that collaborates of the Colombian Truth Commission in Germany.
