CAPAZ at Ciudad Global 2021 – Viva Alemania in Medellín

Medellín’s Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (ITM) has been holding the Global City event every year since 2012. The event consists of a week of academic, cultural, and artistic events organised to promote the exchange of knowledge and intercultural dialogue with a different guest country each year.

The guest country this year is Germany, which is why CAPAZ will be involved in a number of different ways.

The week’s events open on Monday, October 25, when CAPAZ Academic Director Prof. Dr. Stefan Peters will discuss peace in academic contexts with the directors of a number of higher education institutions.

An online discussion entitled Holocaust and Post-War Literature will be held on Wednesday, October 27 at 11:00 am (Colombian time). The debate will be broadcast on the ITM YouTube channel and via ITM’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. Prof. Dr. José Guillermo Anjel from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Prof. Dr. Sascha Feuchert from the Justus Liebig University, Giessen, and Dr. Pilar Mendoza from the University of Frankfurt -all CAPAZ partner universities- will join this event.
