Lab-Workshop

The task of building peace in Colombia continues to be pertinent. The agreements signed in 2016 were a starting point to de-escalate violence and initiate processes of truth, justice, reparation, and non-repetition. In order to envision potential desired territories with enhanced living conditions for communities and their environment, the active participation of communities, social organisations, academic institutions, and governmental bodies is essential. By acknowledging existing knowledge and experiences, it becomes crucial to explore the potential contributions of environmental management in addressing the challenge of constructing peaceful territories.

During the lab-workshop, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge and experiences on these topics alongside students, representatives from research institutions, local and regional leadership, and enhance your creative skills in the Slam practice.

Peace Slam

Do you know what a Peace Slam is? In just a few minutes, you can present your academic interest in environmental management for the construction of peaceful territories to the Slam audience, using all your creativity in oral, physical, and written expression. Join us at CCA Araracuara in Florencia for an evening of creative reflections, shared knowledge, and experiences!
