Universidad Externado Diploma on the Search for Missing Persons in Colombia

The School of Cultural Heritage Studies at Universidad Externado de Colombia, one of the founding members of the CAPAZ Institute, invites those interested to apply for the diploma course entitled: “Technical tools to contribute to the search for missing persons in Colombia”.

The programme will be run in B-learning mode, from July 22 to September 30, 2020, and is coordinated in association with Equipo Colombiano Interdisciplinario de Trabajo Forense y Asistencia Psicosocial (Colombian Interdisciplinary Team of Forensic Work and Psychosocial Assistance) EQUITAS.

The general objective of the course is to address the investigation and analysis of disappearances from the perspective of the Plan Nacional de Búsqueda de Personas Desaparecidas (National Plan for the Search of Disappeared Persons), recently implemented as part of the Final Agreement for the End of the Conflict, and the experience and scientific research conducted by EQUITAS in the field of forensic archaeology and anthropology.
